John Garcia graduated in 2002 from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industry Management.
Mr. Kassab has over $7B in hands on transaction experience as a leader in a Fortune 100 company, government, private equity, banking and start ups. As in-house counsel for IBM, Damian developed deep expertise in manufacturing, employment, labor, franchise, environmental and antitrust law. As a founding member of Martha R. Seger & Associates, Damian oversaw operations, regulatory compliance, investment analysis, and investor relations.
Damian was Chairman/CEO/General Counsel of a $650M community bank with an institutional investment portfolio of $170M. Appointed by the Governor of Michigan, Damian was Chairman of the Michigan Gaming Control Board which regulated Michigan’s $1.4B gaming industry. Damian currently holds key positions in his software company and strategic advising firm.
Damian earned his BA from the University of Michigan, Juris Doctor at the University of Colorado, and Banking degree from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
Ajoy Sharma has 25 years of broad strategic, financial and operational experience in start-up, high growth, distressed and global business environments. He has served as CFO, General Manager/COO, Restructuring and Transformational executive in corporate, entrepreneurial and private equity backed organizations. He has keen interest in corporate development and has executed transactions in excess of $2 Billion in aggregate value. Additionally, Ajoy is a BoD member/observer, within Technology & Business Services, Manufacturing and Financial Services industries.
Ajoy was Netlink’s Chief Financial Officer till Q1 2017, a position he held since the company’s start-up in 2003. He was instrumental in architecting Netlink’s explosive growth over the past 14 years with the CEO, as the business grew to $150 M. As CFO, Ajoy led all financial and strategic activities, including planning, M&A, treasury, tax, audit, investor relations and legal affairs. Earlier, Ajoy spent the initial 8 years of his career with General Motors and Delphi leading expansion in new geographies.
Ajoy holds an MBA (Finance & Decision Support Systems) from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University.
Cliff has 31 years of broad strategic, financial and operational experience in Public Accounting and leading operations for highly regulated large companies. He has served as VP of Operations, Assistant General Manager, CFO, CEO, General Manager, President and Treasurer of Greektown Casino.
Cliff has keen interest in corporate development and has executed transactions (inclusive of both capital raises and M&A) in excess of $1B in aggregate value. Cliff joined Anderson Tackman & Co. in 1988. He was responsible for monthly service to various commercial clients, taxation services to companies and individuals and held the position of Senior Auditor when he left in 1992 to join the Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians as the Assistant Controller for Casino operations. During his tenure with the Tribe Mr. Vallier earned the position of Senior Director of Finance and was a member of the Senior Management team. His duties included responsibility for the general ledger, monthly statements, annual budget, managerial review of monthly results, and worked closely with management to ensure an understanding of the budget process and instituting best practice benchmarks for managers.
In November 2000 Cliff moved the Detroit area and joined Greektown Casino as Senior Director of Finance. He became VP of Finance in 2004 and CFO/GM in 2006. He later lead the organization as CEO/CFO President and Treasurer.
Cliff holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business with an Accounting Major from Northern Michigan University.
Min Yoo is a Partner responsible for international business development initiatives, directing sales and marketing strategies, and providing global client leadership. Min has strong success and experience in International Business Development, Venture Capital, Operations, Marketing, and Sales. Mr. Yoo began his executive career early as sales director for South America in Asia Tex, an international textile company based in Korea. Min cut his teeth in the US market as a senior partner at Atlantic Consultants in the telecom space followed by several executive positions serving SBC (AT&T), Blackberry, Verizon, Sprint, and Samsung. He then Co-Founded Benjamin, Hunter, and Harmony Group in 2008. At BHHG Mr. Yoo lead successful transactions in the semiconductor, battery, logistics, food service, life science, energy, and manufacturing industries.
Min Yoo received his B.S. in Advertising and Masters in Marketing and Communications from Michigan State University. He is trilingual, fluent in Spanish, Korean, and English.
Sara Blackmer is a Tech Executive delivering wins for tech focused companies in defense and commercial markets. She has extensive experience in leadership, teambuilding, creative problem solving, executive business development, customer relationships, and corporate strategy. Sara was recognized by dBusiness Magazine’s Powered by Women feature, and named to Crain’s Notable Women in Tech.
Sara has been author and speaker of multiple technical sessions at industry events, as well as a guest speaker for University academic sessions. She was invited to deliver the commencement address at Oakland University.
Sara has served on numerous boards of advisors/directors including the Robotics Technology Consortium Executive Board of Directors, the National Advanced Mobility Consortium Executive Board of Directors, Oakland University School of Engineering and Computer Science Executive Board of Advisors, University of Michigan M-TRAC Transportation Executive Board, Intel Corporation Board of Advisors, and the NVIDIA Corporation Advisory Council.
Sara is a decorated veteran. She retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer.
Sara earned her BSE in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan, and her MBA and MS, Global Supply Chain Management, from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. She has also attended and earned certifications for multiple post-graduate leadership and professional courses.
Dan Fiebelkorn has over $1B in hands on transaction experience in public accounting and financial services in healthcare, real estate and construction industries, among others. Dan began in a boutique CPA firm, has over 10 years with Plante Moran then joined Solyco to lead Financial & Tax services for small and mid-market clients.
He has served clients ranging from small family owned businesses to large institutional and private equity groups. Dan has helped clients with asset and equity transactions on both the buy and sell side. Dan has diversified experience with early stage and mature companies in structuring the sale of a business, with a specialty in generational succession. He has worked on state and local reporting for income tax and sales use tax in states all over the country. Dan has tax experience internationally including China, Canada, Mexico, and Germany.
Dan has consulted with his clients on sales and use tax, personal property tax, quarterly bonuses, WIP schedules, estate planning, payroll, bookkeeping, healthcare, employee benefits among other financial services. Dan leads compliance to assist clients, not limited to, but including tax reform including QBID, business interest limitation, GILTI tax, and the impacts to an individuals tax return.
Dan earned his BA and Masters from Michigan State University. Dan is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Analyst.
He is also a member of the Healthcare Association of Michigan.
Greg has 18+ years of leadership, finance and accounting, strategic and operational experience in the gaming, leisure and hospitality industry. As a corporate executive Greg has completed transactions over $1B in aggregate value. Greg has taken companies through formal (Chapter 11) and informal turnaround efforts with 100% success rate that resulted in large returns for investors. Greg has extensive experience in raising capital and restructuring debt to better serve the strategic goal of the operation.
Most recently, Greg was the Chief Financial Officer for Casino Miami and was able to grow the value of the company from $125 million to over $250 million in just over 4 years. He was recruited as a strategic turnaround expert and was able to successfully see the company through a sale to a Las Vegas based casino and hotel operator.
Greg has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, an MBA specializing in Finance and speaks English, Russian and Armenian fluently. Greg is also the treasurer and director on the Ally Jolie Baldwin Foundation’s board.
